DST and Microsoft products

A free program to fix the time discrepancy is now ready at Microsoft website.

This fix is for people who are not using windows vista, and or people who turned off the automatic update.

Before going to the website, we’ll need to find out which windows is in your computer, and which office is in your computer.

To find out which windows is in your computer;
1) Click on “start”
2) Click on “run”
3) Type winver in the white box then click “okay”
A small square size windows will appear showing for most people,
Windows xp professional or windows xp home. The second line will show If you have service pack 2 or service pack 1. Write this information.

To find out which office is in your computer;
1) Open Microsoft word
2) Find and click on the “help” menu, you should see “about Microsoft word”
3) Click on “about Microsoft word”
A small square size windows will appear showing for most people,
Microsoft word 2000 or 2003, this means you have office 2000 or 2003. Write this information.

Now that you know which windows and office are in your computer, click on the the Microsoft link below, choose home user and choose your windows version, and for some your office version. When asked to save or run the file, select save. Remember where the file is being save because you will need to go to that file and double click it to run it. Read and follow the instructions.
